Ioannis Chondroulis received his D.Eng. degree from the Electronics and Computer Engineering School of the Technical University of Crete (TUC), Chania, in 2018.
His diploma thesis involved an FPGA-based implementation of a FEC coding scheme for a Wireless Sensor Network. Besides his theoretical expertise in electrical and computer engineering, he is also experienced in the design, implementation and testing of hardware-based devices, applications and testbeds.
He is the Wireless System Engineer of AIT’s B-WiSE lab since January 2019.
His work involves operating and maintaining lab equipment, designing and running project demos, programming, configuring and troubleshooting wireless network devices and the respective firmware, participating in the lab’s research work and contributing to the lab’s day-to-day and long-term objectives.
