Didoe Prevedourou is the Managing Director of AIT which is a private non-profit scientific institution. She is mainly responsible for the administration and organization of AIT’s activity, fund-raising, research collaborations and partnership formulations, as well as for the protection, dissemination and commercialization of AIT’s intellectual capital.
Before AIT, Ms. Prevedourou worked in the R&D Division of INTRACOM S.A., the biggest Hellenic Telecommunications Industry, in the roles of researcher, research area leader and assistant department manager for twelve years. She actively participated in numerous EU funded, pre-competitive research projects in the area of Communications Software Technologies, assuming both roles of technical contributor and coordinator.
She also served, for a number of years, as INTRACOM’s representative at the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), and as a representative of the Greek Industrial Confederation at the Telecommunications Working Group of the Union of Industrial and Employers’ Confederations in Europe (BUSINESSEUROPE).
Ms. Prevedourou has a Diploma in Computer Engineering and Informatics from the University of Patras, Greece and a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois, USA.
