Develops a framework and a platform for enhancing the dependability of software systems, in particular those that manage and control critical infrastructures. AIT develops kernel based extensions for enhancing the dependability of applications running on top of them, mapping techniques from high level configuration plans to low level configuration actions and machine learning techniques for classifying normal and abnormal system behavior.
Start: 01/2006
End: 12/2008
Funding: Private Industrial
Status: Ongoing

Configuration Management of In-Home Devices
Develops a software platform for the automatic configuration of networked in-home devices, including white appliances, entertainment equipment, etc. AIT contributes to the development of the part of the platform that automatically synthesizes configuration scripts and their interpretation at the home environment for the purpose of configuring in home devices.
Start: 9/2006
End: 10/2008
Funding: Private Industrial
Status: Ongoing

Intelligent Processing of WSN data
Develops a platform for the intelligent collection, correlation and processing of data coming from the nodes of Wireless Sensor Networks that may be deployed in building spaces for monitoring environmental and other conditions.
