Friends of AIT, Athens The Board of Directors of Athens Information Technology (AIT) announces, in the framework of its constitution, the creation of Friends of Athens Information Technology, known as Friends of AIT. Purpose of “Friends of AIT” To broaden and strengthen its international collaborations with distinguished scientific, academic, and research institutions in Europe and the United States, contributing not only to the intellectual capital of our country but also to the Greek scientific community abroad. This also expands our international student alumni network - the best ambassadors of our homeland. Friends of AIT are also invited to become involved in various AIT events and activities and attract talented students, researchers, and professors. To contribute to the economic support of educational and research programs and activities, through the procurement of the necessary funds for the Scholarships, Awards, and Financial Aid Fund, for talented and financially deserving students, and to the enhancement of AIT’s facilities, equipment, and laboratories so that competitive research may continue to take place. Members of Friends of AIT are updated by the respective committee on the center’s needs. They may contribute either through an “open donation” towards operational costs or through an “allocated donation” towards a specific need at AIT. The primary commitment of Friends of AIT is the financial strengthening of the Scholarships, Awards, and Financial Aid Fund, so that no student is deprived of a top quality education, due to economic hardship, and the opportunity to better not only their own professional future but that of our community as a whole. Organization of Friends of AIT
Student's Views "One of the biggest advantages of AIT is its Career Office. People there try really hard to help all the students by contacting companies and informing us about job opportunities. The Career Days which take place at AIT each year are very well organized and the best Greek and international companies are there, interviewing AIT’s students."
