SUMMARY
Dr. Panagiotis Zakynthinos was born in Athens, in March 1981. In 2005 he graduated from the department of Computer Engineering and Informatics of the University of Patras, specialized in Telecommunications and Computer Networks. In 2010 he obtained his PhD from the National Technical University of Athens. His PhD thesis concerned the theoretical and experimental study of all-optical broadband systems for switching in packet networks. Dr. Zakynthinos is the author or co-author of more than 35 publications in top of the line (IEEE, OSA) journals and presentations in the most prestigious and highly competitive optical fiber technology conferences. He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece and a member of the IEEE.
