SUMMARY
Mr. Philippos Tragas was born in Athens, Greece, in 1981. He holds a position of research scientist in AIT. He received the Physics degree in 2004 from the Department of Physics, University of Patras, Greece with specialization in Electronics and Computers. He received a M.Sc. degree in Information and Telecommunication technologies in 2006 offered by “Athens Information Technology” (AIT) and a M.Sc. degree in Radio Communications and Electronics in 2010 offered by Department of Informatics & Department of Physics, University of Athens, Greece. From October 2005 until June 2006 he was an Assistant to the Electronics Laboratory of the Department of Informatics & Telecommunications and of the Department of Physics at the University of Athens. Since April 2006 he has joined the “Broadband Wireless and Sensor Network” group of the Athens Information Technology (A.I.T.), “Centre of Excellence for Research and Graduate Education”, as a research scientist. His research interests include Antenna Designing for Mobile applications, Adaptive Algorithms for MIMO systems, Wireless Sensor Network Designing and Programming, Electronically Steerable Passive Array Radiators (ESPAR) antennas, Indoor Localization. He is a member of IEEE.
