SUMMARY
Konstantinos Georgakilas received the B.Sc. degree from the Telecommunications Science & Technology Department of University of Peloponnese, Greece in 2007 and his M.Sc. degree in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon University (INI) and Athens Information Technology (AIT) in 2009. He is currently pursuing a PhD in the framework of the academic cooperation between AIT and the Center for TeleInFrastruktur (CTIF) at Aalborg University. His current research work is focusing on next generation WDM optical network infrastructures.
